US$ 160 mm acquisition and financing of two (2) B747-400 aircraft converted by sellers to freighters

Bravia Capital Partners, Inc. (“Bravia”) has structured and financed the acquisition and freighter conversion of two (2) B747-400 aircraft for Yangtze River Express Airlines Company of China (“Yangtze River”) with a combined transaction size of approximately US$ 160 million.

“These two aircraft have allowed Yangtze River to quickly scale up their cargo capacity and compete on additional cargo routes,” says Bravia Chairman, Stewart Smith. He adds, “Our relationship with Yangtze River, as with all our customers, is of great importance to us and we are constantly striving to create flexible financial products and aircraft solutions to meet their requirements in a timely manner.”

Yangtze River was established in 2002 and provides domestic and international air cargo transportation service and logistics solution. Currently, Yangtze River serves over 30 cities around the world with more than 200 scheduled flights weekly. Domestic flights cover all major Chinese cities, and international flights include Los Angeles, Seoul, Osaka, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Yangtze River has performed over 22,000 flights since 2002.
