DELHI GYMKHANA CLUB
Located in the heart of Lutyens’ New Delhi and occupying 27 acres of prime land, contiguous to the Prime Minister’s redoubt, the Delhi Gymkhana Club was conceived on the drawing board by Sir Edwin Lutyens as part of his grand design for Imperial Celebrations. Amongst the oldest clubs in India, it moved to its present location in 1913. Initially called the Imperial Delhi Gymkhana Club, it was renamed as Delhi Gymkhana Club when India gained Independence in 1947.

Through the age old tradition of Indian classical dance, the celebrated danseuse Sonal Mansingh, a master of Odissi and Bharatanatyam, two of the oldest and richest dance styles in India, leads the audience and interprets the mysterious and exciting world of aviation.
